About this course
This course will explain the Cardiovascular system and explain why getting a good cardiovascular workout is one step in the process of maintaining – or regaining – a healthy lifestyle for those who may have incurred a disability. With the average life expectancies of person with Spinal cord injuries and other life altering injuries getting near-normal, we all have a lot to look forward to keep our bodies in as good as shape as possible.
Physical activity does not need not be strenuous to achieve health benefits. You don't have to be an athlete. Significant health benefits can be obtained with a moderate amount of physical activity, preferably daily. Keep moving!
